1. These terms and conditions form part of the Miele 30 Day Money Back Guarantee promotion (hereafter referred to as the “Promotion”) and are to be read in conjunction with Miele’s standard Terms and Conditions of Sale available at: https://www.miele.co.nz/domestic/legal-information
If, within 30 days of delivery or collection of your product(s), you are not totally satisfied with your Miele appliance, you may return, or where applicable request collection of the unit (product must be in the condition in which it was delivered or collected) in accordance with the below requirements. A copy of the tax invoice for the purchase must be provided.
2. The Promotion is only valid for purchases made in New Zealand and to persons of age 18 and over.
3. Purchase any Miele Washing Machine, Washer-Dryer, Tumble Dryer, FashionMaster Ironing System, Dishwasher, Freestanding Refrigeration/Freezer/Fridge-Freezer, Steam Oven, Benchtop Coffee and Vacuum Cleaner (excludes Miele RX2 robotic vacuum) appliances and receive a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. For avoidance of doubt, all other Miele products (including accessories) are excluded from this Promotion.
4. The Promotion excludes built-in appliances unless otherwise specified above, Project, Professional/Commercial (including Professional for the Home), damaged, display, ex-display (B-stock) and run-out models for all categories.
5. Promotion applies to new orders placed during the Promotional Period.
6. Promotion is subject to availability and whilst stocks last. No rain checks.
7. Normal manufacturer warranty conditions apply.
8. To be eligible for a refund under the Promotion (in addition to all other requirements) claimants must lodge their claim within thirty (30) days of purchase by following the steps below:
a. Download the Claim Form and Reply Paid label available for download at https://www.miele.co.nz/domestic/miele-innovation-promotion-3608.htm
b. Complete the Claim Form;
c. Return the product (vacuum) to your nearest Miele Service Centre with your completed Claim Form and original proof of purchase; or
d. Affix the Reply Paid label on the parcel. The Reply Paid label should read:

Miele will not be responsible for any lost, late, incomplete or illegible Claim Forms.
For all other appliances:
Please contact Miele on telephone number Miele at 0800 4 MIELE (0800 464 353) to arrange collection. Where applicable, Miele will uninstall the appliance.
9. Only one claim per transaction is permitted. Miele has the right to withdraw or refuse the Promotion and/or any associated refund to any claimant for subsequent returns under this Promotion.
10. Refund of money can only be claimed when purchase price has been paid in full. Refunded amount will be the amount paid by the claimant less any cash back or rebate amounts paid pursuant to any Miele Home Rewards Program or similar program or promotion.
11. All returned appliances must be undamaged (save for any fair wear and tear) and in saleable condition. Miele reserves the right at its sole discretion to refuse a full refund or offset any amount of refund against any damage caused to the appliance. Except where Miele installs an appliance, it is the responsibility of the claimant to ensure correct installation of the appliance to avoid any damage being caused to it.
12. Miele will verify the authenticity of the claim and check that the returned appliance is returned in the condition in which it was delivered, and then (subject to the other terms herein) issue a full refund for the invoiced price. Please allow for at least 30 days for processing of the refund.
13. The 30 day period takes effect from date of customer delivery or collection.
14. No refunds will be provided for any delivery/freight, installation or any associated costs.
15. By lodging a claim under this Promotion, the claimant excludes Miele from any liability, loss or damage resulting from or arising in connection with the Promotion to the extent permitted by law.
16. Miele will not be responsible for any damage caused to joinery or cabinetry during removal and/or uninstallation to the extent permitted by law.
17. The Promotion is available for retail sales only from an authorised Miele Chartered Agent, Miele Experience Centre, Miele Online Shop or Miele Online Affiliate. Miele warehouses are excluded from this Promotion.
18. The Promotion is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
19. A refund will be paid for any coinciding Miele Service Certificate (MSC) taken out by the claimant for the appliance being returned under the Promotion.
20. Employees and immediate families of Miele and its business associates including Miele Certified Agents are ineligible to claim through this Promotion.
21. Miele reserves the right to verify the validity of all registrations and reject any claimant for interfering with or bypassing the registration process or for submitting a warranty, which is not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
22. Products used in commercial settings or for any hire purchase, lease, rental or other similar arrangement are excluded from this Promotion.
23. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other legislation which may not be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement. By lodging a claim under this Promotion, the claimant excludes Miele from any liability for loss or damage resulting from or arising in connection with the Promotion or redemption save and except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
25. Any costs incurred by the claimant associated with the Promotion, including accessing the Miele website, telephone enquiries, and mailing any required documents are the sole responsibility of the claimant.
26. Any decision of Miele is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
27. The terms “products” and “appliances” that form part of this Promotion have the same meaning and are used interchangeably in these terms & conditions.
28. Miele reserves all rights including without limitation to change the terms and conditions herein or withdraw or extend the Promotion at any time.
