Tested to the highest hygiene standards
Our comprehensive hygiene concept has been tested by and won awards from the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology.*Hygiene performance has been examined in various programmes in combination with our unique TwinDos® system. The result confirms that more than 99.99% of bacteria and fungus as well as more than 99.9% of viruses in laundry and the appliances are removed. Dust mites and bedbugs are also reliably killed.*
Tested by Albstadt-Sigmaringen University and awarded the Excellent Hygiene label by the Institute for Integrative Hygiene and Virology (InFluenc_H). Applies to all models with TwinDos® and PowerWash in the Cottons 60 °C programme with the AllergoWash Extra in combination with Miele UltraPhase as well as in the Maintenance wash programme using the Miele IntenseClean machine cleaner. The QuickPowerWash 60 °C and QuickPowerWash 40 °C programmes also achieve Certified Hygiene standards when used in combination with Miele UltraPhase. Tested bacteria include E. coli and enveloped viruses (e.g. coronavirus) and non-enveloped viruses (e.g. noroviruses and adenoviruses).Images serve as examples to illustrate the product benefit.
